apple's iMac is an amazing machine which i think would beat any windows machine hands down, but i have one major problem with apple's computing association and that is due to the amount of add-ons you have to purchase when purchasing the computer, its ridiculous you spend £900 on the product then £300 pound on add-ons whereas on a windows machine you can get all this and the speed of an iMac for around £500. there is still a massive 'glammer' factor about apple which is soring the prices but i think over the next 2-3 years this factor will start to disperse and then the prices will fall and ultimately i think within 5-10 years everyone would could consider an apple computer over a Microsoft machine but at the moment apple are still witnessing a few teething problems in this sector, when apple are over these issues they will be the market leader.
